MySQL Consulting
Since the beginning of my MySQL involvement performance has always been one of my top priorities. Query tuning, performance audits, configuration tuning. All of those are my bread and butter. Workload changes in time, new functionalities are being added. What was once a fine-tuned database will not stay like that forever. If you notice that your database is not performing to its full potential, you may be interested in running a performance audit. Based on the data collected during the audit and data that exists in your trending systems I can provide you with guidance and suggestions on what are the most important bottlenecks in your system.
Are you in charge of a project to build highly available database but you are not sure where to start? What technology should be chosen, which MySQL flavour to use, how to design the environment? Proxy layer or not? How to build a high availability for your proxies? What is the difference between ProxySQL and MaxScale? Which one to use? Those are just a handful of all the questions you will have to answer before you even start. If you want, I can help you to go through this process, sharing my knowledge and experience of designing database environments spanning across the globe.
Do you need a database administrator but you can’t justify hiring someone? Do you need just a couple hours per month to keep your databases happy? Feel free to get in touch with me and I’ll try to help you. As long as I will be able to reach your environment via VPN, SSH or other means, I will do my best to help you manage your databases and improve their performance and availability.
If you think I can help you, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch using the contact form below.
